Reviews and Ratings
I had a great girls weekend getaway at the hotel. The rooms were clean, well set up, and had many nice touches; although they didn't look as glossy as the website, I still double-checked I had chosen the right place. The service from the team was friendly, but the awareness of some dated amenities was a downside. The location was perfect for exploring Brattleboro, and I enjoyed the funky feel of the original features. However, the dining options were lacking. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a few minor hiccups.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-furnished with convenient amenities, although there were some minor issues like dirty cracked windows and a creaky bed. The service was warm and helpful, adding to the positive experience, but I wished they had more time for guests. The location was fantastic for exploring the town, despite needing a bit of tidying up. The dining experience, while convenient and in a good location, could use some improvement with the food options provided. The facilities offered were decent, but there is room for enhancement.
For our girls weekend getaway, the hotel's bags of character and the view of the street towards the Connecticut River were enjoyable, although it was a bit noisy at times. The white noise maker helped alleviate the noise issues.
The hotel offers a mix of comfort and outdated charm with spacious rooms and excellent service. The location is convenient for both outdoor activities and exploring downtown. The dining options may not be extensive, but the friendly staff and historical feel make up for it.
I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The location was superb, right on Main St, making it perfect for our girls' weekend getaway. The rooms were toasty warm, and we didn't even need to adjust the thermostats. However, since our room faced the main road at a traffic light, the traffic noise was a bit loud at times. The service was exceptional, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The hotel's location was a huge bonus, allowing us to easily walk around town to explore various shops and restaurants. Although, some areas needed better upkeep like cleaning up used dishes and crumbs on the tablecloths. The dining experience was a bit underwhelming with a limited selection of pastries, bagels, and other typical items. The facilities were okay, but could use a bit of improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were up to our expectations, equipped with a fridge containing complimentary water, and a coffee maker, although the view was not so great and the room tended to be warm with no cooling option in the winter. The location was central and ideal for exploring the town, being conveniently situated above the movie theater. The dining experience was simple but good, offering a selection of pastries, bagels, cereal, fruit cups, and yogurt.
The hotel is conveniently located on Main Street with shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms, though non-smoking, had a faint smell of smoke but were lovely with charming old-fashioned keys. The service was friendly and extremely helpful. The location offers easy access to all that Brattleboro has to offer, but some areas needed cleaning attention. Dining was good but had room for improvement.
The hotel room didn't look as glossy as portrayed on the website, but I was pleasantly surprised by the view of the mountains, which was lovely. The room had many nice touches throughout, with clean sheets and a really clean bathroom. The service was friendly and easy to contact, although I was put in a room with a questionable tub. The location was central and great for exploring the town, right above a movie theater. The dining experience was lacking variety in the morning. Overall, a decent stay with some highs and lows.
The hotel offers well-furnished rooms with convenient amenities, but the non-smoking rooms may have a lingering smell of smoke. The staff is professional and friendly, though there seem to be issues with some facilities. The central location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, and dining options, while limited, are acceptable.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and not-so-great experiences. The room had some old furniture and not the softest sheets and pillows, which felt a bit worn compared to my previous visit. However, the staff was super friendly and did a great job helping me with my boarding pass. The location was ideal for exploring the town, being right on Main Street, but I was placed in a room next to a road junction which was a bit noisy. The dining experience was continental and nice, with a good continental breakfast available, but the tub in my room was not the best. The facilities were decent, and the property overall was lovely.
